WHAT IS IT?
KYBELLA® is administered as a series of injections to the treatment area under the chin, destroying fat cells and producing gradual results. Everyone's chin profile is different, so Jannelle with tailor a treatment to you. The number of treatment sessions will vary based on the amount of fat under the chin and your treatment goals.
So you're comfortable, we'll apply a topical and/or injectable local anesthetic is administered to the region for treatment. then I use a marking pen to draw a grid on the skin, which serves as a guide for the intended injections. Each square in the grid is injected with 0.2mL of Kybella, up to a total of 10mL per treatment session (up to 50 injections per appointment), spaced 1 cm apart. Each course of treatment consists of four to six visits, with at least a month between sessions. Patients will begin to see the desired results after the first session, but may require two to four sessions for optimal results.
